Controls and monitors water consumption at home with alerts for possible leaks.

Water leaks are a very important element to take into account when it comes to saving water. A dripping tap is something that we all know can waste many litres at the end of the year. With WaterSen, users can get an idea of their water consumption.

Challenge

The goal of this project is to design an intelligent water leakage monitoring system, which allows users to track the use of any device, control routines for appliances, receive notifications of devices that are left on, and view a daily activity timeline of their homes. 

Goals

Users can define the different water entry points and with them manage the monthly consumption and avoid unexpected expenses.

To be able to easily add the different water inlets and appliances.

Control and observe carefully by means of graphics, the different connected devices.

Report water consumption incidents and save more money on monthly bills.

Research

The first step was to check out the competitors and become familiar with the existing Smart Home products, the pros, cons, and user opinions.

We carry out a complete investigation of similar applications that exist in the market.

UI PATTERNS

In turn we conducted another benchmark seeking to convey the concept of austerity and ease of use. The colours are used to highlight the most important elements on the white background.

Wireframes

Taking into account our target audience, we wanted to create an intuitive and dynamic user experience, keeping the style guide with a clean and focused interface for each type of user.

Design
